Who Qualifies For A Bursary Or University Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application procedure.
Applications are now open and may close on 15 December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant should meet the subsequent criteria:
• Be considered a South African citizen or copyright who originates from a house that has a combined gross home earnings that does not exceed R350 000 for every annum.
• Persons with disabilities qualify if their combined residence revenue doesn't exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and need not submit any evidence of income.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent people from households with combined R350 000 website and R600 000 for each annum.
Applicants are reminded to provide the right Id Document numbers, names, and surname, as reflected of their South African ID.
